Bright Lights Apart - Fooled

Bright Lights Apart return with their new single "Fooled," the second featuring Sorry Mom! The protagonist of the track written by the Rovigo-based band feels cheated. He has that feeling you get when you realize that all your life you have been fighting for false goals, for a lifestyle that has been imposed but is totally disconnected with what you really are. So imposed that we forget our true identity. Hence the desire to break this loop, destroy the superstructuresand bring out the true self. The song's strongly rock sounds do not hide, indeed, emphasize, this feeling of anger and frustration, and the refrain reinforces an already strongly marked lyric. In the video clip accompanying the song, this "anger" is conveyed through images: frames of the band alternate with those of the protagonist, whose attitude suggests frustration and a need to escape.
