Fratta Todina - Little medieval village (ENG)

Fratta Todina is an Italian town in the province of Perugia in Umbria. Built around a medieval castle that belonged to the bishop of the diocese of Todi, it passed at the beginning of the 15th century to Braccio da Montone and then returned under the dominion of Todi following its fate. Among the most representative buildings are the 17th century Bishop's Palace and the 19th century Parish Church. In the hamlet of Spineta there is one of the oldest Franciscan convents, dating back to 1291. The Tiber and the Faena torrent flow through the municipal territory. Fratta Todina is part of the Orvietano Narnese Amerino Tuderte Mountain Community.Directed by Gigi Oliviero
