Umbria - Todi a city of author (ENG)

The rather large municipality of Todi extends in the southern part of the province of Perugia, on the border with Ternano, in the Umbria region. It is located almost halfway between Perugia and Terni (both are about 42 km away), while it is 35 km from Orvieto and 45 km from Spoleto. The municipality is characterized by the middle course of the Tiber river, which bends in a south-west direction towards Orvieto right in Todi. The Rio, Naia and Arnata streams also flow there. It was founded between the 8th and 7th centuries BC. by the Umbrians; on a hill located on the left bank of the Tiber, about 400 meters above sea level and a short distance from the territory inhabited by the Etruscans, with the name of, which means "Border City". The boundaries of the original city are traced by the perimeter of the walls.Photography Pasquale Romano. Editing Luca Oliviero Direction Gigi Oliviero Voice Alberto Capone
